Did you know that your nightstand could affect your sleep? It can! It does! Time for a no nonsense nightstand so you can have a solid sleep.
Three quick fixes for a great nights sleep also reduce clutter, stress and keep you in a serene environment.
Space, Silence and Symbols. I know, bizarre, read more.
Space. Keep your night stand space small. With books and cell phones, reading glasses, water glasses, prescription pills, note pads and pens for the 3am brain storming sessions, lip balm, foot cream, etc. you NEED a BIG space to store it all. HA! No you don’t, this is a place where you need space so your body and mind can rest and restore.
Get ready, remove what you don’t need and conceal only what is current. The more space you have the more space you will fill. Downsize and then put it in a drawer.Drawer dividers will keep your night stand in tip top shape inside and out.
Silence. Time to turn off the technology. Our wired way of winding down at night means we’re sleeping less and less. Electronics keep our energy stimulated by an invisible zone of energy called EMF (electromagnetic field) and by the light they emit. Scary stuff!
Shut down for some good shut-eye and keep them out of site.
Symbols. The Universal Law states that everything has an energy. I talk about this a lot with clients. You are what you surround yourself with, even at a subconscious level. Look around your room, what you keep around you is the energy that is around you. Design your space to be simple, full of what you love and beautiful. Clear the space and you will clear your head. for a simple, full and beautiful nights sleep.
